Food safety is a core focus of the team at Reid Produce Co. The company operates under strict HACCP food safety guidelines.

Reid Produce Co. operates a New Zealand Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) approved Food Safety Programme. Compliance is regularly monitored by our certified internal staff in addition to annual external audits by MPI accredited auditors. Our certification meets the requirements according to the principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).

Reid Produce Co. operates from a certified organic management system which is certified and audited by AsureQuality Ltd. Our current organic certification relates to the following standards:

  • AsureQuality Organic Standard (domestic & non-regulated markets)
  • MPI Official Organic Assurance Programme Technical Rules for Organic Production (including Taiwan)
